A joint press conference was held at Pak Muharram Hall in Karachi by leaders of various Shia organizations to condemn the recent Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
AhlulBayt News Agency: Prominent scholars and political figures including Allama Syed Nazar Abbas Taqvi, Allama Sadiq Jafari, Haider Abbas Saqafi, Allama Baqir Hussain Zaidi, Allama Badr Al-Hasnain, Allama Ali Raza Mutahhari, Allama Athar Mashhadi, Dr. Allama Aqeel Moosa, Sabir Abu Maryam, and Ghayyur Abbas were present.
Addressing the emergency press conference, Allama Nazar Taqvi strongly condemned the war imposed on Iran by the illegitimate Zionist regime, calling it a blatant act of aggression. He announced that the Shia community in Pakistan will organize a massive protest rally in Karachi on June 22, starting from Numaish to Tibet Center, to express solidarity with Iran.
He emphasized that the Israeli attack is a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter, and fundamental human values. The speakers warned that Israel's actions are becoming increasingly dangerous for regional peace and security, and that imperialist powers do not respect the sovereignty of free nations.
The leaders declared that the entire Muslim Ummah must openly condemn this Zionist aggression. They added that Iran’s retaliatory strikes have shattered the arrogance of the occupying Israeli regime and that the end of decades-long oppression against the Palestinian people is near.
Allama Sadiq Jafari stated that Muslims around the world stand firmly behind Iran. In this sensitive situation, it is important for both Pakistan and the Arab world to uphold a clear position supporting Iran's right to self-defense.
He also drew a comparison between India and Israel, saying both regimes are nurtured by the same imperialist mindset, with Zionism and Hindutva representing the ugly face of global oppression.
Haider Abbas Saqafi pointed out that India’s support for Israel’s actions, both during aggression on Pakistan and the recent assault on Iran, proves that the interests of both nations are anti-Islamic. He condemned the rallies held by extremist Hindus in support of Israel, calling them evidence of ideological alignment between the two regimes.
Other speakers echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that the Islamic world stands united against Zionism and Hindutva, while fully supporting the oppressed people of Iran, Kashmir, and Palestine.
The leaders also expressed deep sorrow and sympathy over the martyrdom of Iranian men, women, and children, offering condolences to the Iranian nation and prayers for patience for the bereaved families.
